Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I am deeply inspired by a plethora of passionate artists regardless of genre! The greatest such as Lauryn Hill, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Prince, Ella Fitzgerald and also genre bending artists such as Charli xcx, The Strokes and Saya Gray. Those serve as a base for what I wish to create in terms of quality and cultural impact.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Being able to showcase my work to a wide audience would expose my music, personality and vision to the people who can relate to me and support me in this collective music journey that cannot exist without the connection brought by live performances!
What would you do with $50,000?
I have pre-produced several demos over the past 3 years that make up the project I’m currently working on! The album has a cohesive theme and clear vision for its sound that requires high fidelity recordings and experienced collaborators to bring it to life, therefore I would use 80% of the money for production and 20% for marketing purposes.
