Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Anything can be a musical inspiration. Anything that's on the radio to a beat the construction crew down the street is hammering. That's the wonderful thing about music. Inspiration can come from anyone or anything. After all, if you believe in string theory, literally everything is made up of vibrations and we try our best to present the sounds we enjoy.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be the pinnacle of all our musical careers so far. I feel like our music is quality, but getting it to people to enjoy is difficult. I believe performing at this festival would allow our music to help people find catharsis and leave feeling, hopefully, less stressed. Plus, we are hoping that this would be the spring board we would need to dedicate ourselves to music full time.
What would you do with $50,000?
Invest it back into the music. Find equipment we might need, studio time, advertising. All the things we might need to do to keep This Sky Above making music.
