Who or what is your musical inspiration?
“My inspiration was ignited by women of the 90’s, from Mariah, to Missy, to Aaliyah, to Brandy, to Mary J. Blige, to Erykah Badu, to Faith Evans to Janet to Whitney, to Toni Braxton. I remember being 4, hearing their voices blast through the stereo repeated from a collection of CDs I’d play, and my gift was sparked from there, anxiously submerging myself in music, recording cassette mixtapes off of the radio, studying lyrics and production, and playing by ear at age 6.”
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
“Performing would give me the elevation that I need to have my music reach a mass amount of people, organically, that I know will enjoy it, based on the memorable responses I’ve had from key intimate shows and encounters to date. It will also assist me in filling in the financial gap needed to successfully market and promote myself as a mainstream artist.”
What would you do with $50,000?
“With the $50,000, I would produce and publish my first official music video, from one of my published singles, after releasing the best three singles, leading up to the promotion of my first studio album release. In addition, I would launch my website, and merchandise, including management for my social media and email marketing, share my journey via YouTube, including major live stream performances.”
