Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My mother Helen Fedorow is my biggest inspiration, she was a professional stand up bass player and singer in an all sisters band from Humbult Park Chicago. Their parents were immigrants from Ukraine and the one gift they each received was an instrument and lessons. They played all over the Chicago land area including live radio on WGN . Through them I learned old Hillbilly tunes, old Country, and fell in love with Elvis. Love the Beetles Judy Colins Alison Moyet John Denver David Bowie
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the festival would be a wonderful experience especially knowing its for such an amazing Global cause. Also what a great opportunity to connect with so many amazing people on stage and off. Hopefully my songs and voice would touch the hearts of others and potentially open doors for future collaboration and work in the music industry.
What would you do with $50,000?
50,000 would help take the burden off everyday challenges of daily survival and offer the breathing room to pursue more recording and special events in my community. Art, Music, Creativity, Conservation at Home, Commitment to Sustainable practices in my work are all things I breathe and have always shared with others.
