Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Growing up on Whitney street in Detroit Michigan, just a few blocks away from Motown Sounds Studio, now known as Hitsville U. S. A., on West Grand Boulevard. I would always stop by the Studio on my way to Woodward Elementary School, I would walk up the stairs and look at the pictures of the Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson and the Temptations, as well as other great artists. I would sing their songs, imitating them and imaging myself singing on the big stage as a Star.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Given the opportunity to perform at the Global Citizen Festival would boost my confidence to the 10th power. Also, it would have a profound impact on my career by giving me exposure to a larger audience and other recognized, accomplished, and legendary artists.
What would you do with $50,000?
If I was fortunate to win $50,000 at the Global Citizen Festival, I would first thank the Most High God, secondly, invest in my career as a play write and recording artist and expand my Production company. This phenomenal opportunity would give me the chance to broaden my horizon, as well as, network with other artists in the industry.
