Who or what is your musical inspiration?
The thoughts of creating something new drives me a lot of artists regurgitate what’s already been done I want to create new while still respecting the guidelines of genres. My musical inspiration is newness.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the global citizen festival would allow me to plant myself as an artist I feel like I’ve always had to convince people of my artistry. I’ve accepted who I am now and I want to echo throughout the world. I want people to know that I’m an artist and I feel like this opportunity will give me that moment.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would complete the most well produced album possible with the amount of money. I would create art around it, and actually established myself as a fully seen and recognized artist in the sense of having media to support who I know I am. Not only would I record, but I would also create music videos and media to support this artistry. I would also give back to the artist in the country of Jamaica, which is where I’m from. The underprivileged artists, give them an opportunity to create.
