Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I find musical inspiration everywhere and song ideas come alive when I'm out at sea on my boat in the waters of Key West. There's something magical about being in nature—the gentle sway of the waves, the sound of the wind, and the beauty all around me. It sparks creativity and lets my thoughts flow freely. Those moments fuel my songwriting, reminding me of life’s simple joys and the stories waiting to be told.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be a game-changer for my career. It’s a platform that reaches a massive audience passionate about change. Sharing my music in that space would not only amplify my message but also connect me with fans who care deeply about the world.
What would you do with $50,000?
Well, that's an easy, given what I've been through recently. First things first, a huge chunk of that $50,000 would go straight into replacing all the vital music equipment that was absolutely ruined when my home here in Key West flooded. We're talking guitars, amps, my recording gear – everything's just gone, damaged beyond repair. Once I'm re-equipped, you can bet your flip-flops the rest of that money would be dedicated to recording an album right here in Key West, at Jimmy Buffett's st
