Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My passion for music began singing in church, where I discovered the power of voice and emotion. Music has been my outlet to connect, express, and heal. I draw inspiration from my life experiences, the stories of those around me, and my own personal growth. Each song reflects a chapter of my journey—love, loss, joy, and the complexities of relationships that shape who we become.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would give me invaluable exposure and a platform to share my music with a global audience. It would allow me to connect with other talented artists and grow my network. Throughout this competition, I’m releasing one song a week for five weeks to complete my debut EP, and this performance would be a pivotal moment to showcase my work and reach new fans. I would use the $50k to advance my music career by investing in high-quality production, marketing, and professional development. This funding would help me expand my artistry through collaborations, live performances, and improved visuals, allowing me to reach a wider audience and refine my sound.
