Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration is beingm a voice to the people like me who often get unheard. it’s this restless feeling that leaves me stuck in my thoughts until I let it out . it’s this rumination of memories and experiences, & goals and dreams , to Trauma, that I still haven’t dealt with holding me back . . From losing my dad to suicide and then losing my kid brother at the hands of my other kid brother, to facing domestic violence, and family betrayal.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
This festival not only would it be impacting my career it would be that theoretical slap in the face to every person, every hater and or family member who didn’t have faith in me or my vision or my dreams . Performing at TGCF would be the start , the literal first step to the life I only dared to imagine ; a life of Influence recognition, and the means to make a difference. Having a voice and finally having it heard.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d invest in the music because y’all deserve to hear me at the highest level. I’d lock in on the business. LLC. Merch. Ownership. I’d build a platform for the unheard. I’m not just rapping for clout I’m rapping for the ones who’ve been counted out, and I’d use that money to bring them with me Maybe that’s resources for women fighting through what I’ve been through.
