Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I have many musical influences, it stems from all genres and decades. My latest album is a mix of grunge and blues, while my earlier work was a mix of post punk, electronic industrial and psychedelic. I’m inspired by artists that are bold and unique that inspire you to be brave in your own work! When I write I am inspired by my romantic encounters, the heartache, the rage, obsession. Fantasies or past lives. I think it’s good to also express myself in a quirky campy way!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
To be able to reach people and connect to through the power of music is a beautiful thing. I can only hope to be able to share that! There’s no better feeling than watching people let go and live in the moment and let the music move them.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would invest it back into my music and art. I want to tour, get some new equipment and merchandise. I definitely don’t need anymore boots! đŸ˜„ Also get a place I can also call my home. What’s leftover I will take a vacation and take my Mom and Grandma out!
