Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Growing up in an urban household my mother would always play 90’s R&B when I was younger. Mostly Boyz 2 Men and Aliyah. They helped me find rhythm. As I got a little older I found other artist like Tyler The Creator, Dj Alchemist, Kendrick Lamar, and Larry June. They inspired me not be afraid to make the music that I wanna hear.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the global citizen festival would be LIFE CHANGING. It would give me the coverage that I need and put me on the radar with the biggest artist of the generation. It would be career and life altering. It would be a dream come true. I know that’s cliche but it’s a fact.
What would you do with $50,000?
Honestly it would go towards my daughter’s future, like college or a trust fund. She’s due in October so I would spend it trying to set her up for success so she wouldn’t have to worry about anything.
