Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Our inspiration is every civil right taken away, every person whose future is jeopardized by authotarianism, every crime commited by those who are supposed to protect us, every person scammed by cleptocracy, every victim of judicial inequality, every victim of systemic racial discrimination, and every protest songs written throughout history.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
UN1SON performing at Global Citizen would certainly expand our audience because our message in completely in tune with the mission of Global Citizen, but, it is not about us. It is about the impact our songs will have on the Global Citizen audience, inspiring them to be activists, take action, be an investigative reporter, a whistleblower, produce a podcast to undermine injustice, and consider what they could accomplish if they were to run for office, even to be elected to local government
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000 we will upgrade our mobile recording and performance equipment so that we could tour and produce new material wherever our concert dates take us.
