Who or what is your musical inspiration?
The UGMG-C has borrowed philosophies, and techniques utilized by masters such as James Brown, George Clinton, Bob Marley, Prince, Santana, Lauryn Hill, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and others. The Gypsies are returning music to its foundation; REAL music infused with today’s technology.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would provide a platform for our music which is designed to bring citizens of the world together in harmony, and give exposure to Chicago artists that have been working hard to craft diamonds that will stand the test of time.
What would you do with $50,000?
We would use the money to invest in building a musical infrastructure in Chicago, and resurrect the musical family unity and soul that has been missing in the popular music industry.
