Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My inspirations for making music are Childish Gambino, Tyler, the Creator, and Jordan Ward. Their creativity and authenticity push me to find my own voice. I’m also inspired by my family and friends. Their support and energy keep me motivated and grounded.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing here would mean a lot to me as an independent artist just trying to grow. I don’t have much to lose, but I have everything to gain from sharing my music with new people, learning from the experience, and continuing to build one step at a time.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d love to be able to invest in myself and my family. I’m surrounded by great people that I truly believe them and I’d love to be able to provide them with a little support the way they’ve supported myself throughout my life. And I owe it to myself to give music a real fighting chance with everything I can give.
