Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My entire life’s story is my inspiration to express myself with beautifully aligned words recorded over undeniable sounds and melody. Me knowing what I can create with the sounds in my head is my inspiration. Also, I love the music of artists like, Taylor Swift, J. Cole, Prince, Cher, Sadé, Tupac, George Strait, Elvis, the list goes on and on.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would impact my career greatly in a sense of progression, finding my audience, getting exposed to the likes of different crowds of people whom all mutually have a love for good quality music. It’d most likely catapult me from being locally known to being known abroad. It’d show the audience and those who’ve put it together that I am worthy of it all.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d finally be able to begin a stable, enjoyable life with my beautiful daughter and son. I’d spend wisely and pay it forward.
