Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Andrew McMahon; Seeing Andrew reinvent himself as a musician over and over again inspired me to do the same. Music is ever changing. Chelsea Cutler; her vulnerability in telling her truth has always inspired me to do the same. Taylor Swift; her songwriting skills and the way she’s able to write a song everyone can reflect to their own story in their life. A skill I would love to have.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would not only give exposure to my music and help me create a new fan base but would also help me spread awareness to the causes that I am passionate about.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use that to work on a new album, connecting with new fans to give a positive experience. Tour equipment I would love to go on tour around America. Send my best friend over from Australia to see me play live at a gig. Growing up in Australia a lot of my best friends and family have never seen me play a live show.
