Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Solange is a major inspiration to me because she speaks volumes beyond her music. She moves with meaning with everything she does as an artist and is authentically herself.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I’m a Filipino-American artist starting her legacy to becoming world-renowned. Performing would be the stepping stone for redefining the cultural norms of my people and serve as an inspiration for everyone who has a dream beyond what is expected of them. My voice moves people, stirs their souls, and makes impact. The festival does the same—push for change toward a better world. There’s no better way to start a career.
What would you do with $50,000?
Pay my bills, gift some to my mama, then I’d get the hell out of dodge and move to the place that will bring me opportunities in music to quintuple that $50,000.
