Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Our musical inspiration is the ability to meld multiple genres together while honoring what has come before us. We are inspired to release a cohesive album and also put on a show that allows the audience to be in awe and lose themselves in the present moment. Our musical goal is to take music to its highest level that is authentic, fun, and feels good. From The Allman Brothers Band to John Coltrane to Daft Punk, we want to be in lineage with people who made great art straight from the soul.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at Global Citizen Festival would allow us to move forward full steam ahead as a band, expand our live show with more instruments and guests, and fuel our confidence to write more. We would put on an unforgettable show for the GCF crowd with multiple singers and horn players that showcase raw NYC talent. Performing at GCF would allow us to continue our mission, travel, and bring light into this bizarre and beautiful world. We have a story to tell.
What would you do with $50,000?
As a band, we would use the money to focus, write, and record an album that would allow us to go on tour. On the road, we would expand our live show even further with composed music, a variety of guests, and add lights/visuals to tell a story with our show. Also, our band has a few music therapists and we would love to do workshops in the respective visiting cities. We could visit hospitals, schools, etc. to provide guest sessions for we can offer unique services for the communities.
