Who or what is your musical inspiration?
We’re inspired by a number of genres including pop punk, emo, indie, alt-country, Eastern European folk music, and a lot more. Some artists include Turnover, Wilco, Alex G, Blink-182, The Story So Far, Waxahatchee, Fontaines DC and more. Mostly though, we’re inspired by ourselves. How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
This opportunity would inspire us in countless ways, give us more confidence in our writing abilities, help us get exposure to new audiences, and perhaps help us connect with artists we’re inspired by.
What would you do with $50,000?
We’d use this money to help fund our second full length album (which we’re currently writing), merch which is designed solely by our friends and significant others, and also tour related expenses. We do everything in the band ourselves (except booking shows which thankfully we have support there now), so this money would go a long way.
