Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Love and nature are our greatest inspirations. Many of our songs are either about or inspired by places that we've traveled to and performed. Vulnerability shines through in our music, creating a space for listeners to feel shared human experiences through song. Connecting with others is our greatest desire.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a life-changing experience. Our hope is to reach as many folks as possible with our music, providing joy and healing through our songs. Playing at the Global Citizen Festival would help us achieve that. We recently played a benefit concert for the Iowa Driftless Water Defenders, helping to raise money to provide cleaner waters in our home state. Weary Ramblers have a deep desire to raise awareness and help those who are living in poverty.
What would you do with $50,000?
$50,000 would help us record multiple albums, of which we'd donate some of the proceeds to organizations that are helping to fight poverty and clean our planet. Some of the songs would also focus on these major issues in our society.
