Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Our musical influences are stretched far and wide across every genre. Our lead guitarist enjoys artists from the Beatles, The Isley Brothers, the Notorious B.I.G, to Gal Costa, and many unique genres across time. Our singer enjoys Nick Drake, Radiohead, and Jeff Buckley, and modern independent music. Our keyboardist is a fan of Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, and world music. Together, we share a special love for experimental musicians such as the B-52s, R.E.M., and more.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be by far the most monumental moment of our bands career thus far. Having been originally formed from 4 school friends in our freshman year of high school, to now graduating college, this would be our moment to shine. It would allow us to showcase our talents on a world stage, literally.
What would you do with $50,000?
The money would be used to cover the various fees, equipment costs, and most importantly the studio time to professionally record and distribute our first album. It will also allow us the ability to support ourselves in the meantime as independent artists in the small but bustling music scene of Athens, GA.
