Who or what is your musical inspiration?
“My musical inspiration comes from my island roots in Woleai Atoll, where the ocean, stars, and stories of my ancestors shaped my soul. I’m influenced by reggae legends like Bob Marley for their message of unity, and also by the sounds of the Pacific—chants, rhythms, and the peaceful energy of island life. My goal is to blend that spirit with modern reggae to inspire and uplift people everywhere.”
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
“Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a life-changing moment—not just for my career, but for my mission. As an island reggae artist from Woleai Atoll, my music is rooted in healing, unity, and environmental respect. To stand on that global stage would mean sharing my voice with the world, representing my Pacific island community, and proving that even from the smallest places, big change and powerful music can rise.
What would you do with $50,000?
“With $50,000, I would invest in growing my music career through professional production, marketing, and touring—starting with bringing my island reggae sound to more people around the world. I’d also use part of it to build a creative space under WG Production, where young artists from Micronesia and the Pacific can record, express themselves, and be heard. This isn’t just about me—it’s about opening doors for voices that have never had a platform.”
