Who or what is your musical inspiration?
We're inspired by bands like Radiohead, Coldplay, and Kings of Leon, bands that wear their hearts on their sleeves. We're the same way, open and honest with our music, doing it all from the heart. We do it all ourselves, right from our garage, from our production to our practice. We put our heart and soul into our music so people can truly connect with our music and our message.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a life-changing opportunity for us. It would help share our message, expose us to new listeners, and inspire others with our stories of vulnerability, love, passion, and DIY dedication. It's the kind of opportunity that could take WHYBE from our garage to the world.
What would you do with $50,000?
We would use the $50,000 to promote our debut album. Our biggest challenge right now is marketing, we’ve poured countless hours into creating music we believe in, but we don’t want to release it into the void. This money would help us reach new listeners, share our message, and connect people to the sound and stories we've worked so hard to create.
