Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration? It's simple. It would be people. People are the reasons we have songs..their stories..be it hardships or love,without people there would be no music ..no nothing. I love to entertain in hopes of bringing joy and love to whoever comes to receive the baptism of a fun filled performance.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the GCF is an opportunity that Rock n' Roll dreams are made of. For me it would be the equivalent of like the Beatles being on The Ed Sullivan Show. This is a very big deal. My beloved city of Columbus Ohio named a street after me,Willie Phoenix Way, that was huge,and I am forever grateful,but the GCF is a chance to Rock The World!
What would you do with $50,000?
If you are looking for the truth, obviously I would pay some bills and possibly buy a guitar as well as a used car..but I would also donate a portion of it to Children's Hospital here in my hometown of Columbus Ohio.
