Who or what is your musical inspiration?
This project is inspired by the memory of my best friend, Caroline, who passed away in 2017. Caroline gave me the courage to be able to start a music project when I was in high school, and every release we have ever done has been dedicated to her.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
All of us in winded are passionate about social justice initiatives and the mission of ending poverty and homelessness. Performing at this festival would impact our career by giving us a greater platform to share both our music and our values with a wider audience, and connect with people to continue the mission of making the world a place where everyone can thrive.
What would you do with $50,000?
We are currently beginning the early stages of pre-production for our next album. This funding would allow us to record our album, contribute to all of the production of the record, sustain our ability to tour, and allow us to let the world hear the new songs! It would be truly life changing, as we are currently handing all of our financials ourselves.
