Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’ve always admired musicians and the profound way they craft words that move people, paint vivid pictures, and echo feelings we sometimes struggle to express ourselves. My artist name is derived from the band RED who I have always deeply admired. From their heart pounding screaming vocals to their hauntingly beautiful incorporation of string instruments, is what makes them so uniquely raw and powerful. RED has had a huge place in my heart for many years.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
This would ultimately be a huge stepping stone in getting my name out into the world. I want nothing more than to share my words and passion with others. I believe every great song starts with great lyrics. The kind that stay with you long after the music fades. Hopefully one day, my music can help others and resonate with them, the way that music has resonated with me.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use it to jumpstart my writing career as a lyricist and singer. I would have my songs copy written and would share my story through my lyrics. I would love nothing more than to touch the lives of others through the written page and melodies that we can all admire and appreciate.
