Who or what is your musical inspiration?
We unabashedly worship Neil Young and Black Sabbath first. Also ZZ Top, Isaac Hayes, Bread, Motörhead, The Kinks, Leon Russel, Prince, John Prine, Sleep, DEVO, Thin Lizzy, Daniel Johnston, Led Zeppelin, Badfinger, YES, the Stooges, Les Rallizes Denudes, Boris, The Melvins, and Nirvana but we support any and all live performance and artistic expression regardless of fame or recognition because that’s the spirit of rock. Getting out there, speaking your mind, making the world weirder.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
A gig like that would be insanely impactful for the band, a lot of new people would get to hear us and I bet the sound design would be better than anything we have experienced. We love a big crowd, and we are a group that would respond well to the massive amount of energy generated in a festival environment. Sounds fun, sign us up.
What would you do with $50,000?
I think most of that money would go toward a US tour so we can play every state in America. Of course we would use a little bit for studio time and merchandise but our goal is just to make music 25/7 and bring our 100% original, powerful, unholy rock to dive bars roadhouses and cantinas anywhere we can get in. With or without dough, the idea is to keep trying to do that by any means necessary.
