My music resonates with black culture in the south. Anyone who’s lived in poverty can relate to my lyrics. I’m the voice of the minority.

Who or what is your musical inspiration?
The inspiration for my music comes from many melodic rap artists like No Cap, Lil Baby and Juice Wrld. The thing that inspired me the most to make music is my love for listening to it. I was once in a school band so music has always been with me. It resonates even more with me now that I can express my emotions through my voice. All the hardships I’ve been through really pushed my development.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing would impact not only my career but my entire life. It would do so by giving the spotlight I was never given coming from such a small town with no musical opportunities.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would go back to college and help out the ones in need. Whether it be family, friends or the poor. I would also invest in my career so I could get more money to put back into my community. I’d also want to give small music artists a platform, a chance at things I never had the chance to do.
