Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My Dad was my first musical inspiration. He played guitar and piano, but what really lit the spark was all of the amazing music he introduced to me. When I was a baby, he’d rock (no pun intended) me to bed with 90s grunge and alternative, and I grew up surrounded by the sounds of early Coldplay, Foo Fighters, and Radiohead. With music solidified into my DNA, I naturally started playing instruments, starting with drums at age 3. The rest is history.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at this world-class festival would give me the chance to showcase my music and artistic identity. I think this would be the opportunity of a lifetime to perform in front of such an amazing crowd. I’ve been a performer since I was 10, and I’ve always known that it’s what I want to be able to do for the rest of my life. However, it’s extremely hard to get your foot through the door, especially in the music industry, so I am driven to take this chance to show peo
What would you do with $50,000?
I would save a lot of it for pushing my musical career, whether that’s for publicity, equipment, touring expenses, or studio time. Everything I invest into my music needs to come out of my own pocket, which is a challenge as a college student. I would use the rest to finish paying for school, helping me complete my degree at Berklee College of Music!
