Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I love all styles and genres of music and that’s very reflective of my sound. I love country music, hip hop, reggae, folk, Americana, pop, funk, soul. Some of my biggest inspirations are bob Marley, James Taylor, George strait, Chris Stapleton, Biggie n 2pac. It’s kind of a wide spread!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I currently have a residency at a honkytonk called Rippy’s on broadway in Nashville. I play 4 days a week on the main stage for anywhere from 3 people to 100 people. It would be incredible to feel the rush of playing for a big crowd and getting my music heard by a larger audience! I would absolutely love to experience that feeling more than anything. I know I’m Capable of putting on a captivating show and i know if people could just see that it would help me flourish.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would hit the studio and record the best songs out of my catalogue which has hundreds of songs, as well as as hire a videographer to film content. Basically invest it right back into my music. I would love the opportunity for guidance from your industry professionals to guide me on planning the best strategy in terms of investing this money back into my artistry.
