Who or what is your musical inspiration?
i'm inspired by singular artists who push pop forward. the likes of dave bayley (glass animals), kevin parker (tame impala), gus dapperton, montell fish, billie eilish / finneas, frank ocean, lorde, and taylor swift just to name a few. i think it's interesting to bring hip-hop / rap vocal technique over traditionally pop sonics. as an artist / collaborator, my strengths are writing and drums, and i'd like to work with folks where i can marry those skills with theirs to make something great.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
i love making music. the process fills me with joy and life. performing at a large event providing exposure would hopefully allow me to make my hobby / passion into a career. given the opportunity, i would work hard to prepare and do my best to give a strong performance worthy of the platform. thank you!
What would you do with $50,000?
with $50,000, i would invest in improving my music and growing my audience. i'm lucky to have some mentors / friends i'm able to bounce ideas off of and get feedback from. i would listen to their opinions and use the money as a launchpad to grow my career to a sustainable place.
