Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I'm inspired by women who broke barriers—La Lupe, Celia Cruz, and the fierce voices of my ancestors. My music is rooted in Afro-Caribbean rhythms, but driven by a modern mission: to uplift, provoke, and heal. I carry drums in my hands and stories in my soul.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would amplify everything I stand for—empowerment, rhythm, and resistance. Performing on that stage would allow me to represent Latina artists and percussionists globally, expand my audience, and make music a tool for social change beyond borders.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d invest in my next album and tour, and launch a visual project. Every dollar would turn into rhythm, visibility, and impact.
