Who or what is your musical inspiration?
The person who unlocked music fully for me was Mac miller. I mean the dude and I were years apart from the same walks of life and we love the same type of music. His struggles with addiction happened to be similar to my struggles as well.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I belive that it would jump start my musical career and I'd be able to be heard by the right crowds, and from the profit of anything in my career I wanna start something that could help the future generations have the ability to learn about music if they so choose. Not tell them no we can't teach that to you because your family can't afford to buy an instrument. I wanna get rid of that saying entirely. Music for all I say!!!!
What would you do with $50,000?
I didn't have the best childhood. And i found that my love of music was stopped when the local instrument store repossessed my trumpet.. i want to give youths and young adults the ability to pursue positive outlets. I want to help kids who want to go to band and they get told they can't due to not being able to afford an instrument never have to worry about that again. So I feel that the prize money could help start that process and maybe fund the next Beethoven!
