Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I grew up listening to Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson, Whitney Houston, Ashanti, Michael Jackson, Chris Brown… my dad.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I’ve been performing since I was a kid. A shy girl pushing boundaries and making it happen. Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would abolish those boundaries and set me free to be who I want and own it.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would invest in my music museum and family art center. Give some to my mom. Pay down debt. Invest in my music.
