Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I love to blend jazz, gospel, R&B/pop, funk, and classical styles, inspired by musical heroes like Jaco Pastorius, Paul Chambers, Ray Brown, Jimmie Blanton, and Christian McBride.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Win or lose, I’m looking forward to making the connections with experts and soaking in their wisdom so that I can use as I build my music career & getting the right exposure. And I’m looking forward to completing my mission: to inspire people through music!
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d give a portion to my mother who nurtured and helped me cultivate my gift, and I would save the rest for my future college tuition!
