Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Who really inspired me to make music for myself was Blackbear, his dark yet energetic music really connected with me in a way I couldn’t get with other artists. With my mom getting sick, and feeling like the walls are closing in. He was able to give me the confidence that I could cope with writing/making music.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would impact my career immensely, it would give me a lot of experience and learning opportunities to be able to entertain more effectively and efficiently. I believe performing would also start to put me on the radar and give me the chance to connect with those I never would’ve been able to. Hopefully giving me a start into helping build a positive community.
What would you do with $50,000?
If I won the $50,0000 I would give most of it away to friends and family that have supported me throughout my life. They are the most important aspect in my life, and why I’m even here able to fill out this form. I would keep a little bit of it to be able to reinvest into making more music. But honestly I don’t want this for the money, as corny as it sounds, I want to do this so I can be a positive role model to those looking for motivation and inspiration.
