Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I derive so much joy creating music and engaging every process to the final output. I literally climax on my own music. But apart from that internally derived fulfilment, one of my very potent musical inspirations forever remains the ecstasy I see on the faces of people anytime I perform or they vibe to my music. These things keep me looking to create new things from time to time.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a significant manifestation in part of the dreams I nursed coming to America. It would not only be one of the biggest platforms I would be projecting my voice from, it would also expose my gift to a bigger audience and that means the message in my music gets to fly higher, as I look to further Insititutionalize my artistry.
What would you do with $50,000?
Winning 50,000 means I can get to significantly cushion my day to day expenses, reduce draining or distracting tasks, focus a lot more on music creation, buy more gadgets that would help me better own my production processes while also giving me the opportunity to broker collaborations as my art requires. I have a stack of great music and Ideas I haven’t produced yet because of many reasons that can cease if I had financial backing.
