Who or what is your musical inspiration?
To be able to even have the ability to create, arrange, fine tune, promote, manage, and supply the demand is a gift in itself. The amount of fulfillment I feel when I've finished a piece is like no other. That feeling, that sense of pride and purpose is why I do it because I know someone, anyone, out there is going to feel that piece and not just hear it. A song could change a life.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would change everything. People who have never heard of me would know my name. They would learn my songs so they could sing along. I could help so many people with this crazy journey called life by giving them someone to relate to and hopefully be inspired to become whoever or whatever they want to be no matter what the odds are against them.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would move back home to Florida and buy a property. Then I would invest the rest into charities for kids that live in not so great environments so that they have the opportunity to change their futures into something that would help them succeed in life.
