Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My grandma sang when I was growing up. She was a tiny, fiery woman kind of like myself and I wanted to be just like her. So when I sing it’s like she’s singing through me.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be like making the little girl in me proud of where I’ve come from.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would invest it in my career, I would use it to give back to the homeless community and shelters, and to finally be secure financially in my life.
