Leonard Jacome - virtuoso electric harpist from Venezuela designed and invented his own instrument and I shred on Harmonica w/ live Drumset.
Thank you for generously supporting The Harp Machine in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to empower Global Citizen in their mission to eradicate extreme poverty and create a world where everyone has an equal chance to thrive.
Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Our musical inspirations are each other and creating music that defies expectations. We are passionate about making music that pushes people to think outside the box and try to understand that music should be free and open to everyone.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
This would literally change our lives to a degree that we’ve never conceived. Leonard would have an opportunity to make a living in the USA outside of his educational career and I would be able to follow my dream of pursuing music full-time. The two of us have a unique bond unlike anything you’ve ever experienced.
What would you do with $50,000?
The 50,000 would go towards creating an album and marketing it for bigger and better opportunities, and enable us to apply for the Grammys. After that we would sign a deal with Warner/Universal or Colombia records to tour for the next 30 years.
