I’m dedicated. A lot of folks just want money and fame. I want people to be moved by my music or relate to the songs I make.
Thank you for generously supporting Zaybenji in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to empower Global Citizen in their mission to eradicate extreme poverty and create a world where everyone has an equal chance to thrive.
Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Definitely family. I have a lot of family who does music. Mostly my uncle he’s a producer and just watching him progress in his music career since I was little definitely inspires me.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would change everything for me. My biggest thing is I want to connect to other people through my music. I know this would give me that opportunity on a bigger scale. I’m looking to take things to the next level.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use to to pay off my student loans and the rest I want to do something nice for my mom. She’s all I have and she’s done so much for me from a baby to adulthood and if it’s one person I think deserves anything it would be her.
